What’s the deal?
4 Races, 2 day and 2 night, at Talking Rock Nature Preserve and Fightingtown Creek Nature Preserve in 5k, 10k, and 10 mile distances. Points total for your best 3 finishes and overall low points wins!! All proceeds minus food and awards goes to benefit Southeastern Trust for Land and Parks!! Pricing Structure:
Individually the races are $35 each and include a race shirt for the series and a medal of the day for the top 3 men and women in each race category/age group. Pricing for the whole series is $120 and includes an overall prize for the winners of each category (5k, 10k, 10m). We have a goal of raising at least $2000 for them this year! Additionally, we would like to offer discounts for registrations for any middle, high school, or college athletes that want to use our 5k (or longer) distances to prepare for the upcoming season. Series Points Structure:
Each race distance will have its own points tally. The place you finish is your point value. Low points wins. You are more than welcome to participate in races individually but will not be able to compete unless you have at least 3 races in the distance of your choice to be able to compete for the prize! We will have both men’s and women’s categories for participation and point accumulation.
